The third Careers & Canine Connections event, hosted by APH ConnectCenter and Guide Dogs for the Blind, is set to take place July 28- August 2, 2025. This in-person gathering is for individuals aged 18-24 who aspire to enter the workforce and possibly work as a team with a guide dog. The week-long residential program will immerse participants in activities centered around career exploration, informational interviews, networking, and job preparation skills.

Participants will also learn what living and working with a guide dog will be like and how to best prepare for this partnership. Additionally, each participant will have the opportunity to have a personalized, hands-on experience with a guide dog that will spend one night with them.

Informational Webinar

An upcoming webinar will feature information from past participants and program staff to provide insight into the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the benefits of participation and have their questions addressed by APH ConnectCenter and Guide Dogs for the Blind staff.

Join us on February 12 at 7:00 pm Eastern. Register here for Career and Canine Connections.
