Connect the Dots 2024 – How do people who are blind read?

March 30 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT

Connect the Dots Graphic - Join us monthly to discover the magic of Inclusivity through the power of play. Sponsored by PNC Foundation.

Embark on an adventure of discovery into the playful world of Connect the Dots—an educational series that turns the history and innovation of blindness and low vision into an exciting adventure for kids! We’re on a mission to make learning a blast and inspire a world of inclusivity so while our building is under renovation, the PNC Foundation is helping us bring our knowledge out into the community. Over the next two years, in partnership with Louisville Free Public Library, Connect the Dots, powered by PNC Foundation, aims to inspire children through an accessibility mindset, encouraging everyone to ponder ways to create a more inclusive world.

How do people who are blind read?

Being blind is not about what people can’t do – it’s about what they can do! Instructors of this workshop, who are blind, will demonstrate how they read and the technologies that empower them.
