This is an overnight outdoor adventure camp for kids who are blind or have a significant visual impairment, and who are ready to stretch their legs and hit the trail. We plan to hike, raft, climb, swim, and zip in and around the Nantahala Gorge in Western North Carolina. The camp is staffed by teachers of the visually impaired, O+M specialists and a camp nurse with a ratio of 6 highly trained adults for 12 campers.
