Brief Description
V-LINC is a non-profit computer resource center that provides technological solutions to improve the independence and quality of life for individuals of all ages with disabilities in Maryland by providing opportunities for people with disabilities, their families, professionals, and members of the business community to explore adaptive technology, computer systems, software, and the Internet.
V-LINC does this by helping people learn about and use existing assistive technology devices and software for computer access and by creating one-of-a-kind, customized assistive technology. V-LINC aims to use technology to help people with disabilities meet their educational, vocational, and independent-living goals. V-LINC’s services fall into two general categories: computer-technology and customized assistive technology.
