Services Offered

  • Information and Referral
    • Offers numerous library reference resources in blind/low vision areas.

  • Library Services
    • Provides talking books and the equipment to play them on for free through the USPS for people who are blind or otherwise physically disabled so that they are unable to read regular print. Part of the Library of Congress NLS/BPH service. Provides access to the Internet, some office software, braille display and embosser, CCTV magnifiers, and OCR readers through assistive technology equipment for use at the library.

    • Provided via Project Read Literacy Program at San Francisco Public Library.
