Brief Description
The Audio Reading Service broadcasts the reading local news, information and other publications. It is a free service of the Allen County Public Library serving northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio via a receiver and all areas via streaming and podcasts. We broadcast to thousands of people who have reading challenges. Our service is for people with Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Low Vision, Arthritis, CP, Stroke, Parkinson’s and other conditions that affect reading traditional print.

- Reading Services
- The Audio Reading Service is a free, human voice reading service for anyone who has difficulty accessing the printed word. We broadcast our readings 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Special receiver needed to hear our broadcast is loaned free of charge to qualified listeners from the Allen County Public Library. We also offer programming by podcast, web streaming, Apps via Sero (formerly iBlink) and internet radio services. Volunteers read from 15 newspapers, 40 magazines, plus obituaries, grocery ads, weekday exercise, meditation, public service announcements, special programming, and more.
