Brief Description
The Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services administers a statewide system of services for senior citizens, their families and caregivers. We work with other aging agencies and organizations to effectively and efficiently respond to the needs of elderly Georgians. DAS meets the challenge of Georgia's growing older population through continued service improvement and innovation.

- Information and Referral
- Provides information on aging issues through community education programs. Provides referrals to Area Agencies on Aging and information on other local aging services.
- Community Outreach Programs
- Provided to the elderly through Area Agencies on Aging.
- Recreation Services
- Provides recreational opportunities for the elderly people through Area Agencies on Aging.
- Daily Living Skills/Independent Living Skills Training
- Provided through Georgia Division of Rehabilitation Services.
