Youth of Tomorrow: A Day in the Life at Grocery Outlet

Ever wondered how a grocery store operates? How are all the items perfectly stocked on the shelves? Who makes all the bread in the bakery? How do you get a job at the grocery store? Join YoT to discover the in’s and out’s of Grocery Outlet’s behind the scenes! You will learn about a variety of jobs including becoming a franchise owner, courtesy clerk, and cashier positions. Grocery stores are a great entry level position which teach responsibility, attention to details, and customer service skills. Many young adults start their careers working in retail and continue to become a manager or business owner. This is your chance to learn about the operations of a local grocery store, network for your own future position, and discover a variety of future career paths.
