A Day in the Life: Accessible Media and Braille Specialist and Accessible Laboratory
Summer time is approaching and that means travel and summer job season is in full swing! Let’s learn about the different transit options the Bay Area has to offer from Frank Welte. He will also discuss his career path and what led him to this hand-on career at Lighthouse for the Blind in San Francisco. This month’s A Day in the Life, Frank will inform young adults about the free tactile map program at Lighthouse for the Blind in San Francisco. He will also discuss the in’s and outs of what skills and training are needed to become a Senior Accessible Media and Braille Specialist Media and Accessible Design Laboratory. Frank is also a seasoned volunteer and supporter of events in the community! Come join us for a lively discussion about the importance of transportation, tactile maps and the joy of independence that it brings to everyone’s life. If you’re interested in technology and tactile maps, you won’t want to miss this workshop!
