This workshop will conclude with a brief discussion on how to find local resources for decreasing social isolation for clients who are visually impaired.

The presenters will discuss the concept of aging in place for both rural and urban settings in Quebec and New England.

Goals:
To educate professionals on aging in place
To inform professionals of ways to decrease social isolation
To encourage professionals to search for local resources to share with clients
To brainstorm ways professionals can encourage safe aging in place.
