Here is how Lonnie describes himself.
I joined LG&E and KU in October 2016 in the Residential Service Department and handle inbound calls from our electric and gas customers for requests such as payment arrangements to keep service active or a reconnection of service. I first learned of the position through the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and was pleased to learn the company had been working to hire a visually impaired candidate for quite some time.

My previous job experience has been working at Humana, Citibank and the Department of Veteran Affairs. I am married and have two wonderful children who keep me quite busy. I am president of the National Federation of the Blind of Greater Louisville and a member of the board of the directors of the Kentucky affiliate. I enjoy actively serving in my church and spending time with family.
