Women in Leadership: A Conversation About the Intersection of Gender and Visual Impairment
March 18, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT
Our own Neva Fairchild will be moderating the discussion and there will be a live Q&A opportunity. The panelists have deep expertise in politics, corporations, small businesses, and nonprofits and we hope teachers and students and corporate partners alike will all take advantage of this great opportunity to learn more about the key issues facing visually impaired women, what progress has been made, and what challenges still persist. The panel includes:
- Sam Latif, Company Accessibility Leader at Procter & Gamble
- Janni Lehrer-Stein, AFB board member and disability rights advocate who has served as senior disability policy advisor to many presidential, gubernatorial, and state election campaigns
- Kathy Martinez, who recently joined Disability Rights Advocates as President/CEO in March 2021 after having spent six years as SVP, Head of Disability and Accessibility Strategy, for Wells Fargo
- Stephanae McCoy, founder of Bold Blind Beauty
