What’s new in the 2nd edition book: Access Technology for Blind and Low Vision Accessibility

Description: In this interactive live webinar, author Dr. Ting Siu will take participants on a tour of the new 2nd edition book Access Technology for Blind and Low Vision Accessibility. The tour will: Suggest strategies for using the book; Introduce new philosophies for teaching blind and low vision students; and Demonstrate how to use resources for advocacy and assessment. Participants will be invited to ask questions and engage in a lively discussion about learning and implementing access technology for blind and low vision students.

Lesson Plan Goal: Participants will learn about information and resources available in the new AT book.
Learning Objectives: Participants will identify 3 strategies for utilizing the book; Participants will examine 2 new philosophies for teaching blind and low vision students; Participants will demonstrate how to use book resources for advocating and assessing student unique needs
