Welcome to the VISIONS Summer Transition Program located at the VISIONS Center on Blindness (VCB) in Spring Valley, NY (about 45 minutes outside of the city). The program will start on Sunday July 10th and end on Friday August 5th. Our primary focus is to foster independence skills. There will be an emphasis on orientation and mobility skills (travel), vision rehabilitation therapy skills (cleaning, cooking, etc.), technology skills and career exploration for youth between the ages of 13 and 17. In addition to learning, we will explore the Spring Valley area (bowling, rock climbing, etc.).
