Sue Jenkins grew up in the Seacoast of NH but spent her adult life in Senegal, West Africa. She and her husband, Jay, raised their family of three in Senegal doing linguistic analysis of the Wamey language and translating it into written word. Half their time was spent in a small village living out of two mud huts with straw roofs, getting water from a well and using solar panels to charge a car battery for electricity.
