March 12, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST

Brian McMahon, PhD, is Founder of the National Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) ADA Research Project (NEARP) and Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Phillip Rumrill, PhD, is Professor and Director of Research and Training at the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute.              Since 2003, Brian McMahon and Phillip Rumrill led this national research collaborative in partnership with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) to document the nature and scope of workplace discrimination and disability in America. With over 833,000 closed cases investigated by the EEOC, the National EEOC ADA Research Project (NEARP) is nearing 100 publications which explain key demographics, specific unlawful practices, investigatory outcomes, and trends in ADA implementation. The most recent publication addresses individuals with sensory loss, which had surprising findings when compared to a general disability population.   CEUs are available. Space is limited.
