Details: Have you begun to have trouble crossing a street that has not been an issue in the past?  Has there been construction on a sidewalk, blocking your path? What do these terms mean, Traffic Calming, APS, DW, HAWK signal and how do they impact a pedestrian who is blind or has low vision?  These terms and others will be discussed as what an individual can do to better advocate within their communities to improve the pedestrian environments for individuals with vision loss. Following the presentation, questions will be taken, as time allows.
