Description: This webinar is being hosted by the APH ConnectCenter. The American Printing House for the Blind wants to pick up the mantle specific to the national transition conversation that Joe Strechay used to facilitate through the National Transition Network Forum. The APH Connect Center wants to bring everyone to the virtual table to discuss their creative methods and activities to provide services during the virtual landscape, and where we are going in the future.

In the past this event allowed schools for the blind, community rehabilitation providers, transition specialists and government agencies share about their unique programs, activities and resources. The conversation would be moderated by the APH Connect Center team and our great friend, Richard Rueda. In the past this has inspired the replication of programs and activities while sharing about accessible resources to further transition across the United States. Depending on the participation, each representative would have 3 to 5 minutes to share about their program and / or unique components. We will listen and gage feedback, and invite particular representatives back to share a more detailed presentation in the future.

Target Audience: Transition specialists & professionals You! If you would like to participate and share, you should note that in the registration process, letting us know you will be attending and that you would like to share. This way we will be able to pass the microphone to each representative.

The first meeting will include an introduction to the group, purpose, reporting back from our survey regarding the group, next steps for the group, and 3 to 5 minutes of sharing from the requested participants.
