MATT Connect: Configuring for Classroom Activities

Description: Today’s classroom presents students with low-vision with both challenges and opportunities. They must access online content, complete web-based assessments, and participate in classroom activities. The Matt Connect is a compact all-in-one magnifier, distance viewer, and educational Android tablet. This webinar will illustrate how students with low-vision can maximize their participation in the classroom with this device.

Lesson Plan Goal: Provide strategies for adapting the MATT Connect to align with testing and classroom needs.
Learning Objectives: The participant will learn to setup and use the MATT Connect to securely take an assessment; The participant will learn how to isolate the calculator, book, or distance app for the purpose of taking an assessment; The participant will learn at least 3 ways to setup the MATT Connect to view or connect to an interactive white board.
