JAWS Tips for Navigating Documents

Description: Do you need instructions on navigating documents with JAWS? Are you looking for strategies that will help your students read and edit text more effectively? Join this webinar and learn how to navigate different types of documents (such as Word and PDF) and identify keyboard commands for performing reading and editing tasks.

Pre-requisite knowledge: Basic understanding of JAWS
Lesson Plan Goal: The participant will learn strategies for efficiently navigating documents with JAWS.
Learning Objectives: Participants will review at least three Navigation commands for determining document layout and formatting; Participants will insert and delete text; Participants will identify at least four JAWS Quick Nav keys used to move to specific parts of a document; Participants will apply the JAWS Quick Settings within a computer application; Participants will list two benefits of the Braille Viewer feature in JAWS and Fusion; Participants will list three benefits of the Text Viewer in JAWS and Fusion
