Parent Coaching Through Connection (12 PM – 1 PM) with Nan Thompson, LSLS, Cert. AVT
(12 PM – 1 PM)
While 2020 has forced us all into a new way of life and left many of us feeling overwhelmed, it created many new opportunities for learning and connecting.
The practice of tele-intervention has expanded our service capabilities and empowered the families we serve in Early Intervention. Research supports tele-intervention as an effective model for delivering high quality family-centered early intervention. Although Parent Coaching has been the gold standard in our field for many years, very few professionals actually went to school to learn how to teach adults. In March of last year we found ourselves forced into coaching parents more than ever and we are discovering that this model is empowering, effective and here to stay.
Please join us to review coaching essentials and discuss effective strategies and tools to support your Early Intervention practice with families and children who have hearing difference.
Registration is open (one signup for both parts) until 10:30 AM Central Time, 2/25/2021. Enroll now.
