Fit & Fabulous Series: Pilates and Functional movement with Laura

An event every month that begins at 10:30 am on day Third of the month, happening 7 times
Laura Campelia is a Certified STOTT Pilates Instructor and a Certified Functional Movement Screening Practitioner. One of Laura’s favorite sayings is, “How well you move is just as important as how much you move.” As a lead Pilates instructor, she uses the practice of Pilates to help you understand the “how” and “why” of movement so you can strengthen and condition from the inside out. Pilates can help you move more efficiently, easily, and with greater endurance, allowing to feel better within your daily life. Modifications to exercises are given if/when necessary to ensure safety and success. Dress comfortable.
Props may be used such as flex bands, towels, hand towels, and a sturdy chair. Laura is motivating, hardworking, and dedicated, Laura loves to help people move freely and correctly, without pain or limitations, and to discover greater levels of functionality. She also brings deep compassion to her work — in fact, when asked what superhero she’d most like to be, Laura chose a Care Bear.
