By sharing her personal journey and resources, Kristin Smedley will help families understand the real possibilities of raising children who are Thriving Blind – Kristin’s resources: Thriving Blind Community (Facebook) and Thriving Blind Academy, helps parents change their perspective of what it means to parent children with vision loss.  Kristin understands the fear and sadness of learning her children were visually impaired.  Through her lived experience, she shares the importance of flipping that fear into focus and empowering children with vision loss to thrive.
