Already Dealing With Vision Loss and Aging? What happens when you add hearing loss to the mix?

Join us to learn from Meagan Moore, about how she manages and glean tips to improve your own quality of life.
Meagan Moore is the only person in her family with hearing loss and has worn hearing aids since age 3. She attended mainstream education and received good services. She is the first in her family to receive a college degree.
In 2011, after experiencing night vision difficulties, Meagan was referred to Casey Eye Institute and diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa (usher syndrome). She Continued working as an RN until 2017 and then stayed home to raise her three kids. In July 2020 she became a volunteer Oregon Ush Ambassador for the Usher Syndrome Coalition . She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started working for Hull Foundation & Learning Center March 2021.
